Instrutech has created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate our company's commitment to privacy. Your right to privacy and data security is a primary concern. When you visit any Instrutech Web site, we help you maintain control over your personal data on the Internet. Instrutech gathers information about you from data that you provide through optional, voluntary registration on our site and on-line surveys. The information you provide will be used to support your professional relationship with Instrutech and our products. Among other things, we want to help you quickly find information on Instrutech Web sites and alert you to products, updated information and services from Instrutech. We also use this information to help you complete a transaction and to contact you for market research.

Instrutech may enhance or merge your information collected on our site with other operational data as well as data from third parties for purposes of marketing products or services to you. Such information enables us to better tailor our content to your needs.

 

Optional Registration

Several areas within the Instrutech Web site offer voluntary registration. By registering, you can take advantage of personalization (the ability to select content according to a user-supplied profile).

Contests

Instrutech offers contests in which we request certain personal information. At a minimum, the required information includes name and email address. In some cases, the entrant must answer mandatory survey questions about a range of technical interests and personal data. The information gathered in the entry form is used to verify the entrant's identity and eligibility, to contact winners or prize recipients, and to market and sell our products. Because the rules and terms of each contest can vary, all information about each contest is clearly posted during the event.

 

Cookies

Cookies are used to enhance your experience on our sites by allowing us to tailor our content based on your interests. Information Correction and Updating

Instrutech offers you the ability to correct or change the information collected during registration for any site. You may change this information by returning to that site or emailing feedback@instrutech.com.au.. You may also unsubscribe to any of our electronic newsletters by following the instructions contained at the end of every newsletter.

 

Deleting/Deactivation Policy

Instrutech does not offer you a means by which to completely delete personal information, but you can deactivate your identity within our database. To deactivate an identity, email feedback@instrutech.com.au.

 

Security

Instrutech operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by you. Any particularly sensitive information, such as a customer's credit card number collected for a commerce transaction, is encrypted prior to transmission.

 

Children's Privacy Protection

Instrutech Web sites do not target and are not intended for children under the age of 13. Instrutech Web sites will not knowingly collect personal data from children, and will delete such data upon discovery.

 

Sale of Business

Instrutech may transfer personal information to a third party that acquires a business from Instrutech where the information is provided as an important asset of that acquired business.
